The Sunsets of Dubrovnik
I’ve decided that Dubrovnik requires a whole post just for its sunsets. Because, look at these sunsets.

We’ve had two great sunset viewing opportunities during our time in Dubrovnik. The first was from Mount Srd, which is a small mountain/big hill that directly overlooks Old Town. We were originally gonna hike up Mt Srd, but after walking our feet off in Old Town that day, we decided to treat ourselves to an Uber. Alternatively, you can take an overpriced cable car to the top.

Although we didn’t end up hiking up the mountain, we did hike back down, which was just spectacular.

Our other great sunset experience was from a boat. Dubrovnik Old Town has an outstretched harbor area where you walk around on the rocks, enjoy the ocean, and get tickets to various boat tours.

We took the one-hour sunset cruise around Lokrum Island. When we booked this tour, we were confused about how a 4pm tour was gonna provide sunset views. Daylight savings, that’s how. It was perfectly timed.

Despite how it may seem, we only spent one weekend in Old Town before moving on to a more residential part of the city. But we crammed so much into that weekend that I got way behind on blogging. I’m almost caught up now, just in time for another weekend. I honestly can’t recommend Dubrovnik enough.
PS. Here are some photos from a Michelin starred meal because why the heck not.
